MEANDERING RIVER IN THE HEARTLANDS
On 17 Feb 2013, Singaporeans witnessed the opening of the nation’s most scenic waterbody.
The Kallang River @ Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is a naturalised meandering river that cuts through the newly rejuvenated Bishan Park.
The project is a joint collaboration between the National Parks Board (NParks), and the national water agency PUB under the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Programme, a long-term initiative to beautify Singapore’s waterscape. Source: http://www.facebook.com/PUBsg
